East Cantons

Liège, Belgium

Belgium’s East Cantons border Germany, and comprise the only region of Belgium in which the residents are primarily German-speaking.¹ The East Cantons are known for the Hautes Fagnes Nature Reserve and their pastoral fields and forests.^{2 3}
