Cape York

The Cape York Peninsula juts northward from the Australian continent, comprising a large portion of Queensland and encompassing landscapes ranging from rainforests and wetlands to beaches and grasslands.1 2 Cape York itself sits at the tip of the peninsula and is the northernmost point in mainland Australia.3
