National Parks bicolored stamps
The 1934 National Parks Year stamps issued by the United States were produced during the middle of the Great Depression. Each stamp in the series was printed in a single color, but how might they have looked as bicolored stamps?
Philosateleia’s editor prepared a miniature sheet of 10 labels reproducing the 1934 stamps, each of which features a black frame offsetting the vignette. Most of the vignettes match the color of the issued stamps, but the Acadia and Great Smoky Mountains designs originally printed in black have been altered for greater contrast.
