Como Park Post issues 1¢ stamp to meet postcard rate

It has been a little while since I had a new stamp to share from Minnesota’s Como Park Post, but one arrived in my post office box just last week.

The blue 1¢ stamp featuring an extremely tall “1” with the words “Como Post” inside was issued October 19.

Operator Tom B. advises he created this stamp to fulfill Como Park Post’s postcard rate, and the copy I received was indeed affixed to a 3¢ Statue of Liberty postcard.
